Samsung Galaxy finally announced the Galaxy S10 flagship series in San Francisco, United States (US), on Wednesday (02/20/2019).
The company presented a series of performance improvements for the Galaxy S10 line, whose presence also marks the 10th anniversary of the flagship series.
Samsung for the first time presents three variants of the Galaxy flagship series. All three are the Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10e.
Of the three, only the Galaxy S10 Plus and S10 have fingerprint scanner features on the screen. This new security feature uses an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Samsung claims this new technology has a high level of security.

Ladies and Gentleman, introduce Galaxy S10 Plus,” said President of Samsung Electronics DJ Koh at the launch of the Galaxy S10 in San Francisco, United States, Thursday (02/21/2019).
Furthermore, there are a number of different specifications between the Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10e, including the screen size and specifications of the camera. Well, here are the details of the three specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus
Galaxy S10 Plus is the most premium among the three variants of this smartphone. The Galaxy S10 features a 6.4-inch Quad HD + Curved Dynamic AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 19: 9. This smartphone has an almost frameless body thanks to the Infinity-O display technology that optimizes the screen.
This smartphone also has three rear cameras and Dual OIS. Samsung adds one rear camera lens for the Galaxy S10 Plus. Its predecessor, the Galaxy S9 Plus only has two rear cameras.
For specifications, one 12MP resolution camera lens with F2.4 for Telephoto (45 °), then 12MP Wide-Angle, F1.5 (77 °), and finally for Ultra Wide with 16MP resolution, F2,2 (123 °). This rear camera can do 0.5 / 2x up to 10x optical zoom.
Meanwhile, there are two front cameras. The specifications are 10MP for a selfie (80 °), and 8MP (90 °) RGB Depth. This smartphone has dimensions of 74.1 x 157.6, and 7.8 mm and weighs 175 grams.
Galaxy S10 Plus has a number of RAM and internal memory options which are 8 / 128GB, 8 / 512GB, 12 / 1TB. In addition, there is also an option to add storage memory with a maximum of 512GB MicroSD. The battery capacity is 4,100mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S10
The Galaxy S10 has the same type of screen as the “biggest” version, but it is smaller than 6.1 inches. This smartphone also has three rear cameras with the same capabilities as the Galaxy S10 Plus.
Unlike the Galaxy S10 Plus which has a dual front camera, the Galaxy S10 only has one front camera. Samsung complements the front camera of the smartphone with 10MP resolution with F1.9 (80 °).
Smartphones with RAM options and 8 / 128GB and 8 / 512GB internal memory are supported by 3,400mAh batteries. The Galaxy S10 has a body dimension of 70.4mm x 149.9 x 7.8 mm and weighs 157 grams.
Samsung Galaxy S10e
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S10e is the smallest with a Full HD + Flat Dynamic AMOLED screen measuring 5.8 inches and an aspect ratio of 19: 9. As part of the flagship family, Samsung claims the Galaxy S10e is equipped with a series of premium features, but with a more compact body.
The Galaxy S10e has two rear cameras with OIS. The first camera has a 12MP resolution for Wide-angle with F1.5 (77 °) and 16MP for Ultra Wide (123 °). Whereas, on the front only has one camera with 10MP, F2.2 (80 °) resolution.
This smartphone with a 3,100mAh battery has two storage options with RAM and internal memory of 6 / 128GB and 8 / 256GB. The dimensions of this device are 69.9 x 142.2 x 7.9 mm and weigh 150 grams.
Samsung Galaxy S10: Other Features
Samsung complements all variants of the Galaxy S10 with the Intelligence Camera, which can recognize 30 scenes automatically. Previously, the Galaxy S9 could only recognize 20 scenes. All three also have resistance to dust and water with an IP68 certificate.
The three smartphones that are compatible with the 4G LTE network are supported by octa-core processors and have Fast Charging technology.
In addition, Samsung also presents Wireless PowerShare technology. Through this new technology, all three can help charge other devices, such as smartphones, Samsung wearable devices, and Galaxy Buds.
